Google Thinks Wolverine Will Be in Avengers: Endgame

We’ve all been waiting to see how the Avengers will beat Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. From Ant-Man to Captain Marvel, there have been numerous fan theories about who will be the hero to snap us back to reality.  However, Google is apparently placing its bets on Hugh Jackman.

If you type “famous Hugh Jackman movies” into a Google search, you’ll find Avengers: Endgame as one of the Wolverine actor’s credited movies.

Now, this is highly interesting because of Disney’s acquisition of Fox, and ultimately the rights to the X-Men characters. Joe Russo, one of the directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame has also recently said, “I’m certain, with [president of Marvel Studios] Kevin Feige, who also has been on a historic run in the business, that he is going to incorporate those characters under the large Marvel umbrella”.

Feige himself has also told fans, “We’ve been told it’s looking very, very good and could happen in the first six months of next year”.

Avengers: Endgame will drop within the first six months of 2019, so could we see Wolverine slashing his way to Thanos’ defeat?

Hugh Jackman has constantly told the media that he will not return to play Wolverine after the 2017 film, Logan. However, he has also stated that starring in an Avengers movie might be the one exception to his decision, and the one thing that could bring him back to the X-Men universe.

In 2017, he told Screen Rant, “If that was on the table when I made my decision, it certainly would have made me pause. That’s for sure. Because I always love the idea of him within that dynamic, with the Hulk obviously, with Iron Man, but there’s a lot of smarter people with MBAs who can’t figure that out. You never know.”

So, do you think we could see Wolverine in Avengers: Endgame? Or do you think Google has it all wrong?
