First Look at Live-Action Sonic the Hedgehog

Yesterday, Paramount released a motion-action poster for the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie via Twitter. This is our first glimpse at the character adapted for television and features some updates to our favorite superhero hedgehog. He has realistic fur, which is understandable for a hedgehog but also quite different from the static hair that we see in the video games. Sonic also has updated kicks that bring his video game shoes into the 21st century. However, in the motion-action poster, we see him speeding around and collecting rings, which brings us back to the true heart and soul of the character.

Sonic the Hedgehog is expected to hit theaters on November 15th, 2019.

Netflix Gives us the First Look at Carmen Sandiego

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? Pretty soon, she’ll be making her new home on Netflix. The streaming service is bringing back the classic animated series with 20 22-minute long episodes, featuring Gina Rodriguez as the international thief, Carmen Sandiego and Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard as Carmen’s sidekick, Player.

Yesterday, Netflix released the first poster for the series, which gave us the first glimpse of the red-clothed mastermind. According to Netflix’s tweet, Carmen Sandiego will head to Netflix on January 18th.

Netflix is also working on a live-action film that will also star Rodriguez. The movie has been described as a “standalone Carmen adventure that will embrace the beloved ‘90s property”.
